Human beings have an innate connection to the ocean, yet we still know more about the moon than the depths of the sea. This is just a small introduction for those who are passionate about and dedicated to exploring the vast and mysterious world beneath the waves.

Conchology refers to the study of mollusk shells. It is a branch of Malacology, which is the study of the entire Mollusca phylum in Zoology. While Malacology encompasses the study of all mollusk organisms, Conchology is specifically focused on the examination of mollusk shells. This includes shells from marine, freshwater, and land mollusks.

As conchologists, we are dedicated to the study of seashells and the fascinating world of sea life.

Since 2007, we have studied over 750 species of shells and more than 60 other species. But this is just the beginning, as the Mollusk phylum alone is home to over 85,000 species. There is still much more to explore on this incredible journey.
